But to his dismay, Hegedus Henrik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Ľubomír Smatana tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 14 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Viktor Kasarda who took care of the corner kick. UFC Pivnica's Viktor Kasarda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 16th minute, Pavol Rybnický made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ladislav Lomnický made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 19th minute of play. Ľubomír Smatana made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 21stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Fodor Daniel would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. UFC Pivnica were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. UFC Pivnica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavol Rybnický was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Szekeres Tamas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Takacs Tibor notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of UFC Pivnica's Ladislav Lomnický. Ladislav Lomnický was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Hungary were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to UFC Pivnica getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Maroš Baránek hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Hungary's Ladislav Lomnický threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antal Valentin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 58 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Ľubomír Smatana came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ľubomír Smatana, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Hegedus Henrik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Szekeres Tamas got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Ľubomír Smatana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led UFC Pivnica's Viktor Kasarda to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The UFC Pivnica supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hungary's performance. The match ended with a win for Hungary.
