Portugal's Fabricio Andrade suffered a concussion after 15 minutes and had to leave the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 19th minute of play forced C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's goalkeeper Honorato Primo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Florinio got free with Wilson Amorim in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Pablo Ubarna with Luisito Mitxaut as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Honorato Primo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Pablo Ubarna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Adestiempo Juniors and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Portugal made a substitution. Camilo Costa replaced Gustavo Matos. Honorato Primo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Honorato Primo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toto Arebam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Montrelle took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Toto Arebam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toto Arebam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
