Marcus Engström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 雷珂升 in the 20th minute of play. Lars Meesters kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. When Duracell Dribblers's 雷珂升 in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. When 雷珂升 came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Duracell Dribblers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 雷珂升 couldn't finish the play. Marcus Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 38th minute of the match. After 41 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Engström was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Netherlands booed when Duracell Dribblers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Utter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Gabrielsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when 雷珂升 came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krister Helander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Marcus Engström made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Duracell Dribblers's Krister Helander. But to his dismay, Krister Helander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Meesters got free with Marcus Engström in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcus Engström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 69 minutes in the game, Wim Wilmes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcus Engström having to interfere. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Marcus Engström made a huge save. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 雷珂升 in the 79th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Lindsten came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincent Utter hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Netherlands had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
