In the 21st minute, 于磊铮 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. 炸彈人肥寶's 龙德博 tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 任骏诚 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, 炸彈人肥寶's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 任骏诚, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes managed to work through 炸彈人肥寶's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Wim Wilmes dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. A collision led to 炸彈人肥寶 getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. 莫超城 hit a great ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 龙德博. 龙德博 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 炸彈人肥寶's 温战铮 was substituted for Coşkun Kayaalp. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with 龙德博 in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If 于磊铮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The 炸彈人肥寶 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
