RomanianPower's Dé 魏延 got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Dé 魏延 came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Raul Caetano. RomanianPower's Sorin Beligan got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dé 魏延 in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé 魏延 in the 16th minute of the match. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Dé 魏延 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Wilson Amorim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. RomanianPower's Grigore Chivu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 27th minute of play. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Grigore Chivu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of RomanianPower booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Ferenc Puskás tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grigore Chivu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in RomanianPower's zone, Viriato Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grigore Chivu came out of the goal and Viriato Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, RomanianPower's Vintilă Mălaimare got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind RomanianPower's goalkeeper Grigore Chivu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grigore Chivu came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Viriato Moura. But to his dismay, Viriato Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dé 魏延 to strike the kick off in the second half. Grigore Chivu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 55th minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferenc Puskás in the 57th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, RomanianPower's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Grigore Chivu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes of play, RomanianPower's Ferenc Puskás made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. RomanianPower's Gavril Gherghescu was substituted for Sorin Beligan. In the 77th minute Horaţiu Cînu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé 魏延 in the 78th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RomanianPower's Grigore Chivu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 79th minute of play. Felipinho Amorim took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grigore Chivu. Grigore Chivu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferenc Puskás in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 85th minute of play forced RomanianPower's goalkeeper Grigore Chivu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferenc Puskás in the 87th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferenc Puskás in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Felipinho Amorim reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Grigore Chivu. The goal made the score 2-3.
