Fernan Olivar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fernan Olivar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 11th minute of the match. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Fernan Olivar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Oihan in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Lars Meesters made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Raptor FC's Fernan Olivar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Olivar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernan Olivar. Fernan Olivar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. A collision led to Raptor FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Cecilio Cristofol hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Fernan Olivar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Raptor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Cristofol didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Raptor FC's Cecilio Cristofol got a free kick in the 51st minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernan Olivar having to make a save. After having played for 53 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Raptor FC's Fernan Olivar. Fernan Olivar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Fernan Olivar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernan Olivar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Olivar having to interfere. Lars Meesters scored 0-11 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernan Olivar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernan Olivar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernan Olivar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernan Olivar was a little too slow when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-13. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd match minute, Raptor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Rico to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Raptor FC.
