Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Vinicio Bermudo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 9thth minute of the game Daniel Pimentel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guararapes's Romeu Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ragıp Işık's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Romeu Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 18th minute of the match. Ragıp Işık was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Guararapes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinicio Bermudo. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Guararapes's Cristiano Lago. But to his dismay, Cristiano Lago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 27th minute, Cristiano Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Cristiano Lago notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Guararapes's Vinicio Bermudo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Guararapes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Barreto took the corner. The corner ended in Felipe Barreto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guararapes's Romeu Guedes did a great save. The corner led Portugal's Fabricio Andrade to fire away a dangerous shot which Romeu Guedes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

In the 52nd minute, Portugal's Felipe Barreto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. In the 54th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Maicon Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Caetano Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maicon Campidelis made in the 61st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tenorio Urrue however managed to control. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tenorio Urrue in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Guararapes's Romeu Guedes. Romeu Guedes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Felipe Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeu Guedes was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Graciano Coutinho got a free kick in the 70th minute. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Graciano Coutinho hit a great ball. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ragıp Işık's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Vinicio Bermudo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Guararapes made a substitution. Osmar Nunes replaced Cristiano Lago. In the 82nd minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeu Guedes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Romeu Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomeu Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragıp Işık in the 94th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Ragıp Işık came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guararapes.
