Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chris Nygaard kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Mikkel Wulff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Simon Bendtsen hit a great ball. Jullian Goris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keld Paulsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Lars Steen got a free kick in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 15th minute of play forced Spiro's goalkeeper Karol Haskiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karol Haskiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 21st minute of play. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spiro's goalie prevented a goal. Lawrence Conley struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spiro. Alistair Soto kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karol Haskiewicz saved Spiro from getting behind. After having played for 39 minutes, Jullian Goris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jullian Goris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jullian Goris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Bendtsen hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 55th minute, Kenn Skou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Wilkins in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Denmark booed when Spiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lawrence Conley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Gilberto Wilkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes, Chris Nygaard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denmark and the Spiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lawrence Conley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. In the 69th minute Jullian Goris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karol Haskiewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karol Haskiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Gilberto Wilkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Haskiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Simon Bendtsen. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jullian Goris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82ndth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spiro's Karol Haskiewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jullian Goris, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Chris Nygaard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karol Haskiewicz. The goal made the score 0-1. Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
