Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Donato Venerando made the kick off and thus started the match. Donato Venerandos short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Jacob was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Ardiles's Emanuel Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 16th minute of play. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Telesforo went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Basajaun got free with Tommy Kahn in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A well-hit corner resulted in Donato Venerando heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the last second Tommy Kahn throw himself and got hold of the ball when Donato Venerando in the 42ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A hard shot 45 in the game by Donato Venerando from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved.

Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Venerando in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Cristo Basajaun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the game, Ardiles's Donato Venerando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The throw-in from Santos Eguen in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Janik Vogt. Emanuel Jacob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 63rd minute of play. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 66th minute. The corner ended in Frank Sachs almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ardiles's Emanuel Jacob did a great save. Sven Krakouer's late challenge caught a Ardiles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven Krakouer helped the player get up and apologised. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Venerando's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Ardiles's goalkeeper Emanuel Jacob had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Venerando in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. After 92nd play minutes Donato Venerando shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Tommy Kahn and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Venerando in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Ardiles players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
