C.D Escuela Mayor's Dantel Quindos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 26th minute of play. Dantel Quindos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 34th minute of play. Dantel Quindos was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Huercanos in the 44th minute of play. France's Frank Peletier got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentino Ospina to strike the kick off in the second half. If Eleuterio Huercanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
