Chris Nygaard hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as C.D Escuela Mayor's Eleuterio Huercanos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Keld Paulsen. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. 18 minutes into the game, Bertram Svenningsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.D Escuela Mayor the free kick. In the 18th minute, Bertram Svenningsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dantel Quindos was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 21st minute of play forced C.D Escuela Mayor's goalkeeper Dantel Quindos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Enzo Abad in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Olav Graversen. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dantel Quindos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eleuterio Huercanos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keld Paulsen having to make a save. After a rather tough play, C.D Escuela Mayor's Eleuterio Huercanos got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Bertram Svenningsen kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Mikkel Wulff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.D Escuela Mayor the free kick. After 41 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Mikkel Wulff. In the 42nd minute Gau Piedra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dantel Quindos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Bartuelo Villafranca managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D Escuela Mayor's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartuelo Villafranca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th of the match, Chris Nygaard tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Dantel Quindos got in the way and made a wonderful save. Enzo Abad made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Valentino Ospina however managed to control. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentino Ospina in the 73rd minute of the match. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olav Graversen hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. C.D Escuela Mayor's Gau Piedra got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Dantel Quindos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Dantel Quindos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Denmark were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after C.D Escuela Mayor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chris Nygaard took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Chris Nygaard got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dantel Quindos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Dantel Quindos made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Bendtsen during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 95 minutes into the game, one of Denmark:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.D Escuela Mayor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Denmark had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
