Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Viriato Moura took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ademar Ramires kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Pires. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Pires in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute, Viriato Moura made a precise shot to the right of Eriberto Bonadona. Mira United FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregório Neiva in the 21st minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Bonadona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Amado Frois mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mira United FC and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 29th minute of play. In the 45th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Bonadona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodolfo Pires was the one to do the kick off. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademar Ramires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Portugal's Viriato Moura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eriberto Bonadona narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Caetano to maneuver through the defense. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregório Neiva in the 59th minute of play. Nel Ybarbo scored 3-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute Rodolfo Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Bonadona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute Gregório Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Viriato Moura came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viriato Moura couldn't finish the play. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Daniel Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Eriberto Bonadona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Raul Caetano. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mira United FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Bonadona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amado Frois kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
