The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregório Neiva's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. The audience was convinced that Gregório Neiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Belgium's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Gregório Neiva scored to the left of an out of position Casper Claes, making the score, 1-0. Eriberto Bonadona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, Mira United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dércio Moreira to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Feng Cheng Ling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mira United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Feng Cheng Ling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edward Vanderstraeten kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Mira United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Eriberto Bonadona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Ademar Ramires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mira United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgium the free kick. Ademar Ramires hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Gregório Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mira United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregório Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gregório Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Gregório Neiva sent off a good shot on target. After 46 minutes, Floris Claeys mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgium and the Mira United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Floris Claeys hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Yves Dervaux kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Edward Vanderstraeten came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eriberto Bonadona could save by the left post. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregório Neiva in the 66th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Mira United FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Bonadona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. In the 79th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Bonadona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Gregório Neiva came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eriberto Bonadona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Neiva in the 86th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Bonadona having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Gregório Neiva made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mira United FC had won after a very even match.
