After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute Carlos Pedrosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Zestafoni were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan-Erik Magnusson took the corner. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Jan-Erik Magnusson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan-Erik Magnusson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. FC Zestafoni's Ignatius Casasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignatius Casasola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the FC Zestafoni defense, Albin Holweck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignatius Casasola. The FC Zestafoni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignatius Casasola should have stopped the shot. FC Zestafoni's Alex Vallines was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Vallines. 37 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignatius Casasola. FC Zestafoni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When FC Zestafoni's Jan-Erik Magnusson in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Erik Magnusson in the 44th minute of the match. Jan-Erik Magnusson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Ignatius Casasola made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Pedrosa in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, FC Zestafoni's Ignatius Casasola got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Magnusson in the 62nd minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calistrat Macarie in the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Germany booed when FC Zestafoni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shoshita Salia didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Zestafoni made a substitution. Uta Sulaberidze replaced Alastair Burnham. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Macarie in the 92nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Pedrosa hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Zestafoni fully deserved thier win.
