Result 0-1. 12 minutes into the match. Anton Rubáš could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. The supporters of Netherlands booed when TeaBags Liberec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Cavallaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeronimo Liebana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anton Rubáš who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Arnout Reekers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jeronimo Liebana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 22nd minute of play. If Amedeo Visintin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 30 minutes, Vladimír Brodský managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TeaBags Liberec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimír Brodský was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeronimo Liebana. TeaBags Liberec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 36th minute David Eikelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Liebana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Liebana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Eikelkamp went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 40th match minute, TeaBags Liberec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vendelín Toms to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in TeaBags Liberec's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Liebana came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Přemysl Dusil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Anton Rubáš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jeronimo Liebana. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 65thth minute of the game Přemysl Dusil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Přemysl Dusil in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Eikelkamp to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Jeronimo Liebana successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 76 minutes into the match, TeaBags Liberec's goalkeeper Jeronimo Liebana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 83rd minute of play forced TeaBags Liberec's goalkeeper Jeronimo Liebana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Rubáš, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Rubáš in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in TeaBags Liberec's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Liebana came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
