An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 13th minute of play forced Evangel FC's goalkeeper Zackary Sampson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serginho Chulapa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kees Mooiweer got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lars Meesters. 22 minutes into the match, Evangel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Zackary Sampson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Evangel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Chulapa to maneuver through the defense. Zackary Sampson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 36th minute of play forced Evangel FC's goalkeeper Zackary Sampson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zackary Sampson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zackary Sampson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serginho Chulapa made a kick off. When Reed Finn came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Evangel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reed Finn couldn't finish the play. Evangel FC's Zackary Sampson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 58th minute of play. Zackary Sampson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Evangel FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Terry Lusk hit a great ball. Evangel FC's attentive Ömer Elhan managed to snatch the ball when Kees Mooiweer made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serginho Chulapa in the 77th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Kees Mooiweer in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Evangel FC's Ömer Elhan. If Bryon Betts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Egbert Nijveldt made in the 89th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Wim Wilmes however managed to control. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zackary Sampson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 96th minute of play. The Evangel FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
