One of Netherlands:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fuerza Amarilla:s goal. 15 minutes into the match, Fuerza Amarilla's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Sanchez Vagrande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Vilas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. Sanchez Vagrande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Urritz Nogueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. After some careless play in the Fuerza Amarilla defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sanchez Vagrande. The Fuerza Amarilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sanchez Vagrande should have stopped the shot. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sanchez Vagrande. Sanchez Vagrande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Sanchez Vagrande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 38th minute of play forced Fuerza Amarilla's goalkeeper Sanchez Vagrande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yoelvis Sama during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Alcubierre to strike the kick off in the second half. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fuerza Amarilla made a substitution. Paiva Graniela replaced Osvaldo Abar. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Fuerza Amarilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Vilas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Sanchez Vagrande in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Fuerza Amarilla's Sanchez Vagrande got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 87 played minutes Fuerza Amarilla got a freekick which was hit by Yoelvis Sama. After 91 minutes of play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sanchez Vagrande was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fuerza Amarilla.
