After a rather tough play, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Roger Santa Ana got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Liu Feng Zhen hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Lucas Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
In the 55th minute Radamel-Falcao García shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaccheo Andolinas short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Lucas Duarte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Italy's Lucas Duarte threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zaccheo Andolina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olivier Ancel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
