Iqbal Muttaqien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viviano Villasana in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Netherlands's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joni Rotinsulu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cai Zhi Qi got free with Arnout Reekers in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wim Wilmes hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Iqbal Muttaqien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 26th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Dapotan Eagles Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fondas Botitsis to maneuver through the defense.
