Calistrat Hurmuzescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Galishoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, JUNIOR 2012's goal looked a bit too open when Marvin Harrer came free, but Calistrat Hurmuzescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Austria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Anton Platon scored to the left of an out of position Fabio Auer, making the score, 2-0. Virgil Oprescu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Fabio Auer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anton Platon in the 19th minute. After 24 minutes of play, Austria's Fabio Schneider made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calistrat Hurmuzescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Schneider in the 27th minute of play forced JUNIOR 2012's goalkeeper Calistrat Hurmuzescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Nalder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calistrat Hurmuzescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Austria's Sandro Galishoff made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calistrat Hurmuzescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabio Auer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anton Platon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 42 minute of play. The supporters of JUNIOR 2012 booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Seidler didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sandro Galishoff made the kick off in the second half. After 64 minutes, Nichifor Nițulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JUNIOR 2012 and the Austria players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nico Waismann kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Anton Platon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Radu Olăroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes, Albert Grigorie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JUNIOR 2012 and the Austria players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, JUNIOR 2012 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Grigorie to maneuver through the defense. When Virgil Oprescu fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JUNIOR 2012's protests and gave Virgil Oprescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes JUNIOR 2012 got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Oprescu. Sandro Galishoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Hurmuzescu having to interfere. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Platon in the 85th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the game Nico Waismann made a throw-in which Jonas Nalder played forward.
