Aki Guardo in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Aki Guardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Orlando Paraense was slow to take the kick. During this time LUIZ PANATO's players had a chance to rest. In the 40th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th match minute, LUIZ PANATO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo de Salles to maneuver through the defense.
