Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Antal Valentin made the kick off which started today's match. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kerry Sellers, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Szekeres Tamas made in the 6th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Katona Janos however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Takacs Tibor got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute, Kerry Sellers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Farid Mondragón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Sidney Forbes hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Mondragón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When C. A. Independiente's Kerry Sellers in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. C. A. Independiente's Farid Mondragón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 26th minute of play. Fodor Daniel stood somewhat misplaced when Kerry Sellers came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. In the 32nd minute, C. A. Independiente's Kerry Sellers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommie Bolton might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommie Bolton ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kerry Sellers made a kick off. C. A. Independiente's Farid Mondragón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 51st minute of play. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after C. A. Independiente's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Independiente's Kerry Sellers. But to his dismay, Kerry Sellers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommie Bolton in the 58th minute of the match. Farid Mondragón made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Farid Mondragón in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommie Bolton in the 63rd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, C. A. Independiente's Tommie Bolton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Farid Mondragón made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 71st minute. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Tommie Bolton sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. C. A. Independiente's Garth Gould was substituted for Alfredo Felder. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kerry Sellers's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Kerry Sellers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kerry Sellers took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, C. A. Independiente could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
