After 9 minutes, Edmond Suetens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silvers Ilkus and the Italy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Silvers Ilkus's Edmond Suetens got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jedrzej Pinczewski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Italy reached it. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Cloyo in the 13th minute of play. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guust Verlinden in the 16th minute of the match. Jedrzej Pinczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Silvers Ilkus's goal looked a bit too open when Siricio Liotta came free, but Jedrzej Pinczewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jedrzej Pinczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Cloyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Flavio Vittori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jedrzej Pinczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siricio Liotta in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 33rd minute of play forced Silvers Ilkus's goalkeeper Jedrzej Pinczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Cloyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Vittori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Saul Cloyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Silvers Ilkus's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Cloyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Vittori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Italy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Saul Cloyo made the kick off in the second half. Jedrzej Pinczewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sigfrido Auletta in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jedrzej Pinczewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anton Iurașcu in the 78 minute of the game. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Jedrzej Pinczewski made a huge save. Jedrzej Pinczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute Siricio Liotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Pinczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match Bruno Meys shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Vittori showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Italy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
