To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Orain Ambrosio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josepe Gamiz in the 9th minute of play. England's Micah Macdonald got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Escobar. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josepe Gamiz in the 13th minute of play. Luis Escobar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Khalid Kennedy came out and tried to block the shot, but Luis Escobar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. Micah Macdonald struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ruy Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. After a rather tough play, England's Seth Young got a free kick in the 23rd minute. ALIANZA 1901's Alfredo Tomasini got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, England's Xavier Gallagher got a free kick in the 37th minute. A collision led to ALIANZA 1901 getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Rojelio Daza hit a great ball. Kyle Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Berger having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Josepe Gamiz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Khalid Kennedy. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. In the 44th minute, Alfredo Tomasini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Escobar made a kick off. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josepe Gamiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cooper Thompson kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Tomasini in the 52nd minute of play. Kyle Cox's late challenge caught a ALIANZA 1901's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kyle Cox helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of England booed when ALIANZA 1901 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brais Lahoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. England's Kyle Cox got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Khalid Kennedy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josepe Gamiz went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes, Seth Young mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the England and the ALIANZA 1901 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seth Young to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richie Ason during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
