Camille Baume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Teodoro Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Chris Bosch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Claudinei da Fonseca from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Maxime Durand's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adelino Saldanha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adelino Saldanha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maxime Durand having to make a save. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Teodoro Ferraz made a huge save. Teodoro Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 73rd minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Jumeuc Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. France's Remy Dupuy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Douglas Lima, made in the 79th minute of the game. With his leg Teodoro Ferraz managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when France's Frank Peletier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hílton Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Hílton Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Thomás Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Jumeuc Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Falcão Soeiro hit a great ball.
