After a rather tough play, GAÚCHO FC's Gilberto Silva got a free kick in the 7th minute. Vilhelm Lorden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. After 15 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Frank Peletier. Vilhelm Lorden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. 18 minutes into the game, one of GAÚCHO FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some careless play in the GAÚCHO FC defense, David Barbier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raí Seco. The GAÚCHO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raí Seco should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Valério Netto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vilhelm Lorden struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Maxime Durand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GAÚCHO FC. After a defensive mix-up in France's zone, Valério Netto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and Valério Netto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vilhelm Lorden in the 35th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Camille Baume managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camille Baume was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilberto Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of GAÚCHO FC booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Beaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxime Durand was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Valério Netto.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vilhelm Lorden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Peletier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilberto Silva hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Camille Baumes short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Raí Seco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 61st minute Vilhelm Lorden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raí Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Barbier in the 65th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vilhelm Lorden in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Raí Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Frank Peletier. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Quentin Beaux hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Lorden cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Beaux to maneuver through the defense. Valério Netto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maxime Durand. France's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vilhelm Lorden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GAÚCHO FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while France had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
