A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Claudinei da Fonseca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keld Paulsen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teodoro Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikkel Wulff, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Teodoro Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Thomás Diniz came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomás Diniz in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Adelino Saldanha notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 33 minutes into the game, Olav Graversen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Teodoro Ferraz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simon Bendtsen's late challenge caught a Jumeuc Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Bendtsen helped the player get up and apologised. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hílton Penha. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Adelino Saldanha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Adelino Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adelino Saldanha to strike the kick off in the second half. Hílton Penha struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jumeuc Futebol Clube. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Saldanha in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Thomás Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomás Diniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Penha in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Adelino Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Saldanha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 minutes of play, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Hílton Penha made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In a very dangerous position, a player in Denmark fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! 78 minutes into the match, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Teodoro Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denmark's Mikkel Wulff got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Adelino Saldanha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Ferraz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Steen in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Claudinei da Fonseca threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Olav Graversen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertram Svenningsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Jumeuc Futebol Clube support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
