In the 9th minute, Wilfred Holley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernie Dixon in the 11th minute of the match. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanos Sapalidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 19th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Roman Rollins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. England's Khalid Kennedy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save England from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Rich Jean almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but England's Khalid Kennedy did a great save. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernie Dixon in the 29th minute of play. Khalid Kennedy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thanos Sapalidis in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Issac Dawson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Roman Rollins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyrone Marrero. Ernie Dixon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalid Kennedy having to interfere. England's Kyle Cox got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernie Dixon to strike the kick off in the second half. Tyrone Marrero took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernie Dixon in the 56th minute of play. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrone Marrero in the 58th minute of play. Duncan Hendricks's late challenge caught a England's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duncan Hendricks helped the player get up and apologised. 65 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but Roman Rollins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Micah Macdonald got free with Roman Rollins in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cooper Thompson kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyrone Marrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Kyle Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Rollins having to interfere. Khalid Kennedy came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Ernie Dixon. But to his dismay, Ernie Dixon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Micah Macdonald came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Micah Macdonald couldn't finish the play. Boca Juniors's Quentin Bullard was substituted for Thanos Sapalidis. Issac Dawson struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Roman Rollins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. Boca Juniors's Roman Rollins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. Duncan Hendricks got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Duncan Hendricks hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Boca Juniors's Roman Rollins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 86th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, England's Kyle Cox nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Rollins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After having played for 89 minutes, Kyle Cox managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. England's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyle Cox was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cyryl Karpinski hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 94 minutes in the game, Kyle Cox fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Roman Rollins having to interfere. Boca Juniors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
