The audience thought a goal was coming when Lauro Cearense got free with Wilson Amorim in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lauro Cearense in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronaldinho Fenomeno struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AS Pikachuzim. 11 minutes into the game, Lauro Cearense lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Wilson Amorim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 15th minute of play forced AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Oliverio Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 28th minute of play forced AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Oliverio Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Viriato Moura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Oliverio Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oliverio Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliverio Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes, Jacinto Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AS Pikachuzim and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacinto Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
AS Pikachuzim made a substitution. Luciano Sarmento replaced Ronaldinho Fenomeno. AS Pikachuzim's Arif Oğuz Semdin was substituted for Lauro Cearense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Oğuz Semdin in the 60th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano Sarmento went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Oğuz Semdin came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Eric Ramires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AS Pikachuzim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Ramires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eric Ramires came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the AS Pikachuzim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Ramires couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Sarmento in the 75th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Viriato Moura dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oliverio Kahn, 2-3. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Oğuz Semdin in the 79th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Arif Oğuz Semdin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Sarmento in the 82nd minute of play. Eric Ramires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, AS Pikachuzim's Eric Ramires got a free kick in the 87th minute. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Oğuz Semdin in the 91st minute of the match. AS Pikachuzim's Arif Oğuz Semdin managed to work through Portugal's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Arif Oğuz Semdin dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 95 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's goal looked a bit too open when Felipinho Amorim came free, but Oliverio Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Viriato Moura lined in a short shot 2-4 behind a frustrated Oliverio Kahn. Arif Oğuz Semdin scored 3-4 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Portugal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
