Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Téo Mello made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Cup2's Mladen Pashov got a free kick in the 4th minute. Eliseo Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 8th minute of the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Skoroda, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Cup2's Krzysztof Skoroda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Cup2 getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Tinko Betzinski hit a great ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eliseo Moreno. Cup2's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Téo Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseo Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Eliseo Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cup2's Krzysztof Skoroda got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Téo Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. In the 43rd minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseo Moreno skillfully saved the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Cup2's Eliseo Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 55th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Eliseo Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. In the 61st minute Krzysztof Skoroda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Mello in the 62nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeri Hadzhisotirov in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eliseo Moreno saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 70th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Cup2's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bas Tuitert hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 73rd minute of play forced Cup2's goalkeeper Eliseo Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Cup2 were awarded a corner. Mladen Pashov went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Krzysztof Skoroda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cup2's supporters rose to their feet, but Krzysztof Skoroda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 85 minutes Cup2's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eliseo Moreno quite easily take care of the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Eliseo Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. After 92 played minutes Cup2 got a freekick which was hit by Tinko Betzinski. The Netherlands players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cup2 from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
