Sandro Galishoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Minea having to interfere. Fabio Schneider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Iordache Minea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niculae Geambașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Sandro Galishoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austria's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Galishoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iordache Minea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fabio Schneider came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Austria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Schneider couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandro Galishoff to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Austria's Marvin Harrer got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Geambașu in the 57th minute of play. Marcu Conta kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Leonhard Maier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Iordache Minea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Sandro Galishoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Teodor Radovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jonas Nalder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Riedl hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Murgescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Teodor Radovan got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ilie Sandu. The supporters of YR☆ Rossoneri™ booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Riedl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 minutes of play, YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Ferdinand Murgescu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Auer was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, YR☆ Rossoneri™ could leave the field as winners, despite Austria having more of the ball for most of the match.
