After 15 minutes of play, Peace Home Street Boys's Kayacan Müjdat made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carol Stinga was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute Vasile Ciumak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Oskar Hedberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carol Stinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Wahlnäs in the 21st minute of play. Per-Oskar Hedberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Olaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Romania's Carol Stinga got control of the ball when Wiktor Strömqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peace Home Street Boys's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Hedberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sanda Cutov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Peace Home Street Boys's zone, Sanda Cutov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Oskar Hedberg came out of the goal and Sanda Cutov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carol Stinga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kayacan Müjdat in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Olaru was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Sanda Cutov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Oskar Hedberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Kayacan Müjdat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romania's Anton Stinga was substituted for Adam Olaru. The supporters of Peace Home Street Boys booed when Romania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. If Sanda Cutov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sylwester Henryk made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Romania's Filip Stefan. Per-Oskar Hedberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Stinga, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
