Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Pirquitas's Guaberto Arixo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baldomero Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 9th minute of the match. Laureano Corderall was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Pirquitas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Serafino Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. In the 25thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirquitas's Baldomero Txindoki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mikkel Wulff struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Baldomero Txindoki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. In the 31st minute, Lars Steen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertram Svenningsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Txindoki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42 played minutes Pirquitas got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Arixo. Bjarne Kirkegaard's late challenge caught a Pirquitas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bjarne Kirkegaard helped the player get up and apologised. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Chris Nygaard made the kick off in the second half. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Azevedo in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Chris Nygaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Baldomero Txindoki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Lars Steen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pirquitas booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertram Svenningsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 played minutes Pirquitas got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Corderall. Pirquitas's Baldomero Txindoki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Pirquitas from getting a goal against them. Baldomero Txindoki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Nygaard in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomero Txindoki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denmark's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chris Nygaard in the 71st minute. Modesto Burni's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Modesto Burni helped the player get up and apologised. Modesto Burni hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the game, Laureano Corderall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirquitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Lars Steen hit a great ball. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Denmark's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celedonio Amor was slow to take the kick. During this time Pirquitas's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Denmark's goalie and right to Cristian Tonio. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Denmark's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 93 minutes into the match, Pirquitas's goalkeeper Baldomero Txindoki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. In the 94th minute, Bertram Svenningsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
