Thanks to some nice moves Horaţiu Dijmărescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Khalid Kennedy however easily saved by the left post. Dacian Cristoiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute of the match Micah Macdonald shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dacian Cristoiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, England's Issac Dawson got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The England supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing England would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
