After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Károly Berta managed to get in a good position for a shot. FlagellumDei's supporters rose to their feet, but Károly Berta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FlagellumDei's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Osasun came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, FlagellumDei's Tibor Pucheli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 24th minute, Félix Moravecz made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Zoltán Kozák came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Félix Moravecz got free with Fodor Daniel in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. Siro Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Siro Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 41st minute of the match. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Kozák in the 42nd minute of play. Antal Valentin hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Siro Osasun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zoltán Kozák in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute Vencel Sarkady shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Félix Moravecz in the 66th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Tibor Pucheli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gábor Puskás fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FlagellumDei's protests and gave Gábor Puskás a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hungary booed when FlagellumDei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gábor Puskás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Félix Moravecz in the 92nd minute of play. Hungary's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
