Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 王城骋 ran back to his position shaking his head. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 王城骋 in the 40th minute of play. Agnaldo Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, 王城骋 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

An unexpectedly hard shot by 王城骋 in the 51st minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Pimentel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agnaldo Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 王城骋, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, 唐宽伟 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 『盛世メ名門』随遇而安.
