Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Djurgården IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Ahlrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Du Chong Le having to interfere. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du Chong Le saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 23rd minute of play forced Djurgården IF's goalkeeper Du Chong Le to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Du Chong Le took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikolaj Siwek kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Du Chong Le made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Du Chong Le prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Du Chong Le having to interfere.

A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Mathijn Doctor hit a great ball. In the 67th minute David Eikelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du Chong Le saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Du Chong Le. Gijsbert ter Kruimer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Djurgården IF's Du Chong Le played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 76th minute of play. Djurgården IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored to the left of an out of position Du Chong Le, making the score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 79th minute of play forced Djurgården IF's goalkeeper Du Chong Le to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Djurgården IF's Du Chong Le played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 82nd minute of play. Du Chong Le showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wim Wilmes in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Du Chong Le prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goalkeeper Du Chong Le had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer. In the 91st minute, Wim Wilmes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Du Chong Le. The goal made the score 0-3. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
