Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 6 minutes Punta Alvear's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. Germany's Frank Sachs was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Venancio Oto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Germany's Frank Sachs in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Punta Alvear's goalie prevented a goal. When Bogdan Gopov fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punta Alvear's protests and gave Bogdan Gopov a yellow card for diving instead. Germany made a substitution. Rolf Rothberg replaced Frank Sachs. A collision led to Punta Alvear getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bogdan Gopov hit a great ball. Germany's Ulrich Stein couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Punta Alvear. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Eleazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jacinto Eleazar was slow to take the kick. During this time Punta Alvear's players had a chance to rest. Adrian Dreifuss took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Venancio Oto. Punta Alvear's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Ermegildo Heriberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Ermegildo Heriberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Punta Alvear's Jacinto Eleazar. But to his dismay, Jacinto Eleazar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Inocencio Frichoso scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 2-0. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Punta Alvear's Inocencio Frichoso. But to his dismay, Inocencio Frichoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Inocencio Frichoso sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Punta Alvear booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Inocencio Frichoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Gervasio Godoy with Jacinto Eleazar as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Rolf Rothberg scored 3-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Venancio Oto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the game, Punta Alvear's Inocencio Frichoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Punta Alvear made a substitution. Edelmiro Veremundo replaced Emanuel Gizon. After 62 minutes of play, Punta Alvear's Jacinto Eleazar made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67thth minute of the game Inocencio Frichoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rolf Rothberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute Inocencio Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6-1 became the score in the 81st minute when Inocencio Frichoso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Heriberto in the 89th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Inocencio Frichoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Punta Alvear's Flavio Izel. But to his dismay, Flavio Izel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. When the referee ended the match the Punta Alvear players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
