Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antal Valentin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pablo Gaizkine who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Fodor Daniel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Eguntsenti came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Jacinto Eztebe took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fodor Daniel to make any attempt to save it. After 14 played minutes Tijuana futbol Crew got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Blanco. The supporters of Hungary booed when Tijuana futbol Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Eztebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anfilogino Gismondi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Tijuana futbol Crew getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Roman Erroman hit a great ball. Pablo Gaizkine's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fodor Daniel firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 32nd minute of play forced Tijuana futbol Crew's goalkeeper Anfilogino Gismondi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Maximiliano Eguntsenti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th match minute, Tijuana futbol Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Hernandez to maneuver through the defense. Balazs Lajos might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anfilogino Gismondi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balazs Lajos ran back to his position shaking his head. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Eztebe to make the kick off. Tijuana futbol Crew's Pablo Gaizkine suffered a concussion after 51 minutes and had to leave the field. When Szekeres Tamas fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Szekeres Tamas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 50th minute, one of Hungary:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hungary. Fodor Daniel had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Roman Erroman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfilogino Gismondi having to interfere. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Tijuana futbol Crew getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gregorio Veremundo hit a great ball. If Dionisio Mattin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Tijuana futbol Crew's goalkeeper Anfilogino Gismondi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hegedus Henrik. After 82 played minutes Tijuana futbol Crew got a freekick which was hit by Roman Erroman. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Balazs Lajos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 89th minute Jacinto Eztebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. Hungary's Balazs Lajos got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tijuana futbol Crew succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hungary had controlled the match.
