The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Van Clynenbreugel got free with Arnout Reekers in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Bob Hyatt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Bob Hyatt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Bob Hyatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherlands's protests and gave Gustaaf Groeneveldt a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Tuan Eubanks struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACC Mavericks. After 54 minutes of play, ACC Mavericks's Steve Van Clynenbreugel made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! 60 minutes into the match, Nerio Lopez de Toro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nerio Lopez de Toro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuan Eubanks in the 66th minute of the match. Bob Hyatt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wim Wilmes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 68 minute of play. Sahnoyan Şah's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sahnoyan Şah helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Sahnoyan Şah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Nerio Lopez de Toro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After having played for 78 minutes, Nerio Lopez de Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACC Mavericks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nerio Lopez de Toro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Nijveldt to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Nerio Lopez de Toro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ACC Mavericks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Van Clynenbreugel in the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Nerio Lopez de Toro came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bob Hyatt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ACC Mavericks had won after a very even match.
