Herb Good took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Collin Grimm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Collin Grimm got a free kick in the 8th minute. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Herb Good played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 20th minute of play. Balazs Lajos hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, Du Lei Bin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel. Du Lei Bin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Fodor Daniel was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Jean Britton capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jean Britton really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean Britton got free with Fodor Daniel in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 30th minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Herb Good to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean Britton made a kick off. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Trey Easley was slow to take the kick. During this time Sport Lisboa e Benfica's players had a chance to rest. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Britton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Trey Easley who took care of the corner kick. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Trey Easley was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Antal Valentin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Herb Good when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Herb Good made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Herb Good proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Lisboa e Benfica from getting a goal against them. Takacs Tibor made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Herb Good managed to reach the ball for a save. Bakos Endre made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Antal Valentin immediately put the ball in play. Despite being the better team, Hungary failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
