Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Acácio Oliveira kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Peletier in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Caton saved El Millo from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Marcelo Evangelista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Evangelista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Alexis Bruneau hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Jim Roewen put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of El Millo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of France:s goal. In the 22nd minute David Barbier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Caton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Acácio Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Millo's supporters rose to their feet, but Acácio Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 29 minutes of play, France's Camille Baume made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergio Caton was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When France's Frank Peletier in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Millo's goalie prevented a goal. Sergio Caton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Peletier to make the kick off. Robert Chapuis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Sergio Caton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Oliveira came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sergio Caton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Oliveira in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, El Millo's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Sergio Caton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zacarias Fix hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The supporters of El Millo booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Bombelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Acácio Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sergio Caton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Peletier in the 85th minute. Frank Peletier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Caton having to make a save. In the 91st minute, Frank Peletier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salvador Mambru made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. France's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
