An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 43rd minute of play forced The Shadows's goalkeeper Marcos Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niklas Lundqvist struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Shadows. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Marcos Basso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcos Basso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Takacs Tibor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 87 minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match The Shadows got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ni Zhen Ying ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Shadows's Ni Zhen Ying was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
