Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Angelino Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fiambalá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 22nd minute of play forced Fiambalá's goalkeeper Angelino Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fiambalá's goalkeeper Angelino Thomas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Albert Villanueva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Fiambalá getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Victor Ruisko hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Claudio Veremundo sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Belo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Thomas having to interfere. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Thomas having to interfere. Modesto Peio charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Peio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Fiambalá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Peio to maneuver through the defense. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albert Villanueva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelino Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Angelino Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Wim Wilmes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Netherlands's David Eikelkamp pulled a muscle in his back after 67 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Victor Ruisko was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Fiambalá's Victor Ruisko got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Sijmen Clous hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Veremundo in the 92nd minute of play. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Angelino Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Fiambalá fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
