Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Feliberto Pueblo sent off a good shot on target. Viriato Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Julio Falcioni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Franky Dhondt came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franky Dhondt couldn't finish the play. Julio Falcioni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Moura's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. If Franky Dhondt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franky Dhondt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franky Dhondt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franky Dhondt in the 24th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 狄钢远 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Franky Dhondt struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardo Ruso Cordobés. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franky Dhondt in the 30th minute of play. Franky Dhondt took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Cardo Ruso Cordobés were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Portugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Feliberto Pueblo took the corner. Feliberto Pueblo made a great header on Cardo Ruso Cordobés's corner, it was just that Portugal's Wilson Amorim managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Felipe Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Falcioni was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franky Dhondt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Franky Dhondt made the kick off in the second half. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Falcioni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. Julio Falcioni came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 57th match minute, Cardo Ruso Cordobés was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 狄钢远 to maneuver through the defense. Cardo Ruso Cordobés made a substitution. Bennvar Back replaced Franky Dhondt. In the 58th minute, 狄钢远 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Falcioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 61st minute of the match. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Ieltxu in the 63rd minute of play. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Back in the 66th minute of play. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. After taking down the ball on Portugal's corner Daniel Pimentel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Falcioni quite easily take care of the ball. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Back, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Julio Falcioni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 77th minute. In the 85th minute, Bennvar Back made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennvar Back in the 88th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Bennvar Back stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Bennvar Back tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes in the game, Felipinho Amorim fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Julio Falcioni having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cardo Ruso Cordobés.
