In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lugano 1 y 2's goalkeeper Felipe Odol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Odol. Lugano 1 y 2's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. In the 71st minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Odol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Odol having to make a save. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Felipe Odol made a huge save. Felipe Odol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 74th minute. Lugano 1 y 2's Felipe Odol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 76th minute of play. Felipe Odol made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Severiano Ugutz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lugano 1 y 2 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. 93 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Odol narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
