The audience thought a goal was coming when José Paulo Medeiros got free with Fodor Daniel in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Natanael Paraense. Goiás Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Rogério Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Natanael Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Daniel Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Goiás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Cunha. After 23 minutes, Antal Valentin made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natanael Paraense saved Goiás Esporte Clube from getting behind. Takacs Tibor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 48 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Natanael Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rogério Alagoano to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goiás Esporte Clube. Daniel Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Antal Valentin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Natanael Paraense came out and tried to block the shot, but Antal Valentin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Alagoano in the 90th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natanael Paraense was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Antal Valentin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antal Valentin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hungary played a much better game than Goiás Esporte Clube and deserved their victory. The Goiás Esporte Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
