Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Mei in the 3rd minute of play. Lyle Coppack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Carlos Mei sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Gust Ennemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ediberto de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Mei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Carlos Mei kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Lyle Coppack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lyle Coppack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 30th minute of play. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Mei's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 35th minute of play. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Carlos Mei got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. Lyle Coppack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The audience was convinced that Gijsbert ter Kruimer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lyle Coppack was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When Netherlands's Lars Meesters in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalie prevented a goal. The Netherlands fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Netherlands's Lars Meesters looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Mei was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes, Carlos Mei made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute, Carlos Mei made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Lyle Coppack didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. With his leg Lyle Coppack managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Netherlands's Wim Wilmes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lyle Coppack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalkeeper Lyle Coppack had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 77th minute of play forced Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalkeeper Lyle Coppack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Mei in the 79th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Ediberto de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ediberto de Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely made a substitution. Adrián-Daniel Dobre replaced Ediberto de Queirós. Lyle Coppack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute Adrián-Daniel Dobre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
