ARLO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. In the 46th match minute, ARLO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Austin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in ARLO FC's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Santo came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerzy Haszczak was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Jerzy Haszczak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. The ARLO FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
