Società Vigata Calcio's Saverio Bilbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Società Vigata Calcio from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saverio Bilbo. Società Vigata Calcio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Società Vigata Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Corleone didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
